This pictures means so much more than meets the eye. Three years ago my husband left the oilfield to work for ourselves. We bid a contract with the Game Commission in Erie to tear down and remove approximately 130 acres of pheasant pens. My husband, myself, and our 4 kiddos lived in a camper for 8 weeks and worked and I mean worked from sun up to sundown. Lots of sweat, tears, but some great times, conversations, and great satisfaction once it was completed. People stopping in disbelief of the progress that our family was making. Wondering where all of his help was, not believing it was just himself, his wife, and four kids. It's always been a goal of mine to use our acreage at home so we decided to salvage some of the materials to give it a try. So 4 years in and here we are.... even in challenging times there can be a silver lining. Regardless of where this takes us I'm forever thankful for the time we had together and the learning that took place. Our mission for Windy Hill Fowl is for people to escape the crazy and make some great memories. God is so good. Please bear with us as we are trying to add more opportunities and expand our operation each year but with all good things it takes time.
